INDICATIVE ADVERTISEMENT NO. 09/2025
Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) are invited for Direct Recruitment by selection through website https://upsconline.gov. in/ora/ to the following posts from 12th July, 2025 to 31st July, 2025.
1. (Vacancy No. 25070901212) One vacancy for the post of Botanist in Botanical Survey of India, Kolkata, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (UR-01). PAY SCALE: Level-07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 30 years for UR.
2. (Vacancy No. 25070902612) Twenty-two vacancies for the post of Assistant Drugs Controller (India) (Medical Devices) in Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (UR-10, EWS-02, OBC-06, SC-03, ST-01) (PwBD-01)*.
*Of the twenty-two vacancies, one vacancy is reserved for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. Blindness and Low Vision with disability i.e. Low Vision (LV). PAY SCALE: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 40 years for UR/EWSs, 43 years for OBCs, 45 years for SCs/STs and 50 years for PwBDs.
3. (Vacancy No. 25070903212) One vacancy for the post of Junior Scientific Officer in Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Hyderabad under Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (UR-01). PAY SCALE: Level-08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. AGE: 30 years for UR.

9 vacancies for the post of Training Officer (Except Women Training) (Welder), Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship

2. Therein, candidates, with non-teaching experience only were allowed to apply by online recruitment application system for above mentioned vacancies.
3. Now, it is notified for all concerned that, candidates having requisite experience, which includes both experience in industry as well as experience as a trainer/ instructor in the welding or fabrication field, as indicated in advertisement, are allowed to apply for subject vacancies.
4. However, it may be noted that for the purpose of eligibility conditions related to age etc., the closing date as (15.05.2025) indicated in the original advertisement (No.04/2025) shall prevail. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
5. Accordingly, as per the present clarification, regarding nature of experience, applications are invited from eligible candidates through UPSC’s online recruitment application portal (https://upsconline.gov.in/ora/) by 31-07-2025.
6. It is further informed that, candidates already applied under original advertisement do not require to apply again. However, if they want to add/modify experience, may apply again afresh and their latest application only will be considered valid.
