The Centre for Biodiversity & Taxonomy (CBT), Department of Botany, University of Kashmir, has issued an advertisement notice for research positions under a multi-institutional project.

The project, titled “Rehabilitation of Degraded Alpine Grasslands using Ecosystem-based Solutions for Sustaining Ecosystem Services and Ecological Resilience across Western Himalaya,” is sponsored by GBP-NIHE, Almora, MoEFCC, Govt of India, under the NMHS scheme.

Vacant Positions and Eligibility

Research Associate-I (01)	Ph. D. degree in Botany	Alpine ecology	Rs. 58,000/= plus 18% HRA per month
Junior Project Fellow (01)	M. Sc. Botany with minimum 55% marks or equivalent	Alpine field survey and sampling	Rs. 24,000/= plus 18% HRA per month

The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the project. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
