Age Limit & Important Dates

Submission of On-Line Application Forms

Step 1: Visit http[colon]//www[dot]kashmiruniversity[dot]net and Click on Jobs/Recruitment link. Read detailed Important Instructions and preview of whole process for Registration and submission of Application Form before proceeding ahead.

Step 2: Candidate need to Register him/herself before submitting the Online Application. For Registration, Click on the Non-Teaching Jobs link. Remember the Username and Password for future reference. Use valid Email ID and mobile number during registration process.

Step 3: After successful Registration, Login into the system by using your Username and Password.

Step 4: Key in the personal details, educational qualifications, experience etc. then Preview the Form, if details are correct, Click on Submit. If there is variation or you want to update, Click on Preview button, make corrections, updations and then Submit. Remember, no editing or updating is allowed after the Form is submitted. Get a print out of the application form and note the Form No. for future reference.

Step 5: Select payment mode for depositing Application Fee (Online mode). Deposit the fee of Rs. 750, through Online mode only. However, persons with benchmark disabilities (PWD) minimum 40% are exempted from payment of application fee.

Other Terms and Conditions

1. Reservation to above post is as per the provision of S.O 305 dated 21.05.2024, issued by the UT Government, Jammu & Kashmir.

1. उपरोक्त पद का आरक्षण जम्मू-कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा जारी दिनांक 21.05.2024 के एस.ओ 305 के प्रावधान के अनुसार है।

2. 4% horizontal reservation shall be provided to Physically Handicapped Category candidates in accordance with the Notification No. F(Res-Policy-Specially abled)KU/Gen. Admin dated 03.05.2017, if applicable.

Further, Ex-Servicemen shall be entitled to age relaxation and other benefits as admissible under the rules/orders issued by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir/UT Administration from time to time.

2. यदि लागू हो, तो अधिसूचना संख्या F(Res-Policy-Specially abled)KU/Gen. Admin दिनांक 03.05.2017 के अनुसार विकलांग श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों को 4% क्षैतिज आरक्षण प्रदान किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा, पूर्व सैनिक समय-समय पर सरकार द्वारा जारी नियमों/आदेशों के तहत स्वीकार्य आयु छूट और अन्य लाभों के हकदार होंगे।

3. The post is being re-advertised 3rd time due to inadequate response under Advertisement No. 06 & 13 of 2026. Applications submitted earlier for the said post shall not be considered for the present notification and candidates are required to apply afresh, if otherwise eligible.

3. विज्ञापन संख्या 06 एवं 13/2026 के तहत अपर्याप्त प्रतिक्रिया के कारण इस पद को तीसरी बार पुनः विज्ञापित किया जा रहा है। उक्त पद के लिए पहले जमा किए गए आवेदनों पर वर्तमान अधिसूचना के लिए विचार नहीं किया जाएगा और उम्मीदवारों को पात्र होने पर नए सिरे से आवेदन करना होगा।

4. All the relevant information / updates shall be uploaded on the University website http://www.kashmiruniversity.net under Jobs/Recruitment Portal. To notify the same in newspapers shall not be obligatory on the University.

4. सभी प्रासंगिक जानकारी/अपडेट विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट पर नौकरियां/भर्ती पोर्टल के अंतर्गत अपलोड की जाएंगी। समाचार पत्रों में इसे अधिसूचित करना विश्वविद्यालय के लिए अनिवार्य नहीं होगा।

5. Candidates seeking reservation under different reserved categories are required to submit certificate on the format prescribed by the competent authority.

5. विभिन्न आरक्षित श्रेणियों के तहत आरक्षण चाहने वाले उम्मीदवारों को सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा निर्धारित प्रारूप पर प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करना आवश्यक है।

6. Only those candidates should apply for the post, who fulfill all the eligibility conditions as on the last date fixed for submission of online application forms.

7. The information / documents once uploaded at the time of submission of application form cannot be modified.

8. It is the responsibility of the applicant to assess his/her own eligibility to the post(s) for which he/she is applying in accordance with the Advertisement. The University will not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications for the eligibility and other aspects at the time of OMR based Written Test and, therefore, candidature will be accepted provisionally.

The candidates are instructed to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age, experience (wherever applicable) and reserved category particularly w.r.t “cut off date” and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post. When detailed scrutiny is undertaken at the time of Document Verification, if any claim made in the application is not found substantiated or correct, or it is found that the applicant is not eligible as per the prescribed eligibility criteria, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled.

8. विज्ञापन के अनुसार आवेदक की यह जिम्मेदारी है कि वह जिस पद के लिए आवेदन कर रहा है, उसके लिए अपनी पात्रता का आकलन करे। विश्वविद्यालय ओएमआर आधारित लिखित परीक्षा के समय पात्रता और अन्य पहलुओं के लिए आवेदनों की विस्तृत जांच नहीं करेगा, इसलिए उम्मीदवारी अनंतिम रूप से स्वीकार की जाएगी। दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन के समय यदि आवेदन में किया गया कोई दावा सही नहीं पाया जाता है, तो उम्मीदवारी रद्द कर दी जाएगी।

9. The appointment to the notified positions is provisional and subject to the verification of documents/claims through proper channels. If it is found that the applicant is not eligible as per the prescribed eligibility criteria, which could not be detected at the time of document verification / selection for whatever reason; his/her candidature / appointment shall be liable to be cancelled / terminated immediately, and Criminal Proceedings under law may also be initiated, or any other action as may be deemed appropriate by the University, shall be taken.

9. अधिसूचित पदों पर नियुक्ति अनंतिम है और उचित माध्यमों से दस्तावेजों/दावों के सत्यापन के अधीन है। यदि आवेदक अयोग्य पाया जाता है, तो उसकी उम्मीदवारी/नियुक्ति तुरंत रद्द/समाप्त कर दी जाएगी और आपराधिक कार्रवाई भी शुरू की जा सकती है।

10. Applications that are not in prescribed form / without relevant supporting enclosures shall summarily be rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

11. The person employed on regular employment in Government and Semi-Government Organizations, Public Sector, autonomous bodies of J&K Government or Govt. of India must apply through proper channel. In such cases, the candidates are asked to send an Advance Copy so as to reach before the stipulated deadline.

11. सरकारी और अर्ध-सरकारी संगठनों, सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र, जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार या भारत सरकार के स्वायत्त निकायों में नियमित रोजगार पर नियोजित व्यक्ति को उचित माध्यम से आवेदन करना होगा। ऐसे मामलों में, उम्मीदवारों को एक अग्रिम प्रति भेजने के लिए कहा जाता है ताकि निर्धारित समय सीमा से पहले पहुंच सके।

12. No disciplinary/ vigilance case should be pending against the applicants working in any Govt./ Semi- Govt./ Autonomous Organizations. The applicants are requested to submit correct information in the application form.

13. A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number are mandatory for submitting application online and should be kept active till final selection.

14. Candidates who have successfully submitted their online application form have to ensure that their name appears in the list which would be available on the University website in due course of time. If there is any discrepancy /query, please contact Recruitment Section personally within stipulated time from the date of display of the list on the university website failing which no further claim whatsoever shall be entertained.

15. The Application fee once paid will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances.

16. Any addendum/corrigendum and related notifications will be published at the university website: www.kashmiruniversity.net under Recruitment Portal. Applicants are advised to regularly visit the university website for any update/notification. No separate communication will be sent to any individual candidate.

17. Mere appearance in the written examination /Skill Test or interview, if any, does not automatically entitle a candidate to be considered for appointment, if otherwise found not eligible.

18. Eligible candidates shall have to undergo the process of screening/selection to be determined by the University which shall be notified separately.

19. The syllabus for written test shall be notified separately and shall be made available on the official website of the university www.kashmiruniversity.net under Recruitment Portal.

20. In the event that two or more candidates secure equal aggregate marks in the selection process, thereby affecting the order of merit or the zone of consideration for subsequent stages of recruitment, the tie shall be resolved by applying such objective and transparent principles as adopted by the University /UT of J&K. The decision of the University in this regard shall be final and binding.

21. Where considered necessary, the University may shortlist candidates for Document Verification on the basis of merit.

Ordinarily, candidates shall be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 (five candidates against one advertised vacancy), subject to the availability of eligible candidates, the applicable recruitment rules, orders of competent courts, and any decision of the competent authority.

22. The appointment shall be governed by the rules & regulations of the UT Government/ University (whichever is applicable).

23. Services of the appointees shall be transferable between the different Satellite Campuses of the University of Kashmir.
