The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has issued a notification for the engagement of Stenographers and Private Secretaries on a purely contractual basis across its various benches.
Online applications are invited from Indian nationals who meet the specified qualifications. Candidates must be graduates from a recognized university and possess the skill norms of dictation at 100 words per minute in English and transcription on computers at 50 words per minute.
The minimum age is 25 years for Stenographers and 28 years for Private Secretaries as of the advertisement date. For the PS post, a minimum of 3 years of experience as a steno with the required skill norms and experience in handling liaisoning and coordination is required. Retired persons with the requisite qualifications and experience can also apply, with a maximum age of 62 for retired government personnel.

Note: The indicated vacancies are tentative and subject to change.
The monthly remuneration is set at ₹45,000 for Stenographers and ₹50,000 for Private Secretaries. The initial contract period is for one year or until further orders, extendable up to 3 years based on satisfactory performance.

All eligible candidates will have to appear for a skill test. Those who qualify in the English shorthand skill test will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test or interview.
