Advertisement for the post of Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in terms of Government Order No. 383 JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024 at Government Medical College Baramulla

Applications through online mode, are invited from eligible candidates, for filling up of vacant / likely to be vacant posts of Senior Residents /Registrars / Tutor/Demonstrator in the following Department/s of Govt. Medical College Baramulla, in terms of Government Order NO. 383- JK (HME) of 2024 Dated 20-06-2024 initially for a period of 01 year extendable up-to a maximum of 03 years on the basis of satisfactory work conduct/performance as reported by the concerned Head of the Department.

Online application forms will be available on the official website of Govt. Medical College Baramulla www.gmcbaramulla.com from 19-09-2025 and the last date for filling of online applications complete in all respects along with the following requisite Documents /Testimonials is 27-09-2025 upto 6:00 PM.

* Date of Birth Certificate.

* MBBS Degree or Equivalent degree.

* Marks Cards of all Professional Examinations.

* State/MCI/NMC Registration Certificates.

* Post-Graduate Degree Certificate.

* Additional Qualification Registration Certificate issued by JKMC

* Higher Qualification Certificate (D.M/M.Ch.) (as admissible)

* Affidavit duly attested by the first class judicial magistrate (Format enclosed as Annexure A)

8. The first month’s salary shall be kept as security deposit by the institution and shall be paid only after the successful completion of tenure by the candidate at the time of relieving.

9. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes in the number of vacancies without assigning any reason or advance notice.

10. The candidates in their own interest are directed to go through the advertisement notice thoroughly and submit the application forms accordingly. Any application form found incomplete by any means can be cancelled without any prior notice.

11. Incomplete application forms in any respect or not having relevant certificates/documents/affidavit /attached therewith shall not be accepted.

12. After the selection of any candidate, his/her Candidature will be subject to the CID Verification.

Note: – The candidates applying are required to submit application forms through online mode only, no other mode of application shall be entertained however the in-service candidates need to submit the NOC for undergoing senior residency from the parent department in hardcopy at the registrar academics office GMC Baramulla in addition to online submission at the time of form submission.

AFFIDAVIT FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENT/REGISTRAR/TUTOR/DEMONSTRATOR

I Son/Daughter of Resident of applying for the post of hereby solemnly affirm and declare on oath as under:

* That the certificates provided by me are genuine to the best of my knowledge, in case any of the certificate found forged or if I am found ineligible for the post by any means, my candidature will be terminated/cancelled without any prior notice at any stage of engagement and necessary actions as per the rules will be initiated against me including the recovery of salary (if served for any tenure period)

* That I will be engaged initially for a period of 01 year, extendable (subject to work conduct and performance) upto a maximum of 03 years and upon completion of the maximum time period I shall not claim for further extension of tenure in this Institution.

* That if selected I will not leave the department midway before the completion of my sanctioned tenure.

* That if selected I will not claim for any experience certificate before the completion of the estimated tenure.

* That, I agree to the fact that if selected my first month’s salary will be kept as security deposit with the accounts department and shall be released only on the completion of the tenure at the time of my relieving and I shall have no claim for disbursement of security deposit in case of midway resignation and non providing of 01 month prior resignation notice.

* That I understand the fact that if provisionally selected, my engagement and joining the institution shall be subject to the submission of CID Verification from the relevant department and in case of adverse report from CID or if I leave/resign before the receipt of CID verification, I shall have no claim for experience and salary for the served time period.

* That if selected, I will follow the rules and regulations of the institution and will not indulge in private practice during my tenure stay in this Intuition. In case of violation of such rules my services can be terminated and further action as per rules may be initiated against me.

* That I am a non- PSC candidate and not on rolls of any other institution.

That I am psc-confirmed/in-service candidate and shall also submit NOC from the parent department for undergoing senior residency/tutorship/registrarship and relieving from the parent department at the time of joining this institution failing which my candidature / appointment may be terminated at any time of recruitment process/tenure in the institution without any further notice.

9. In case of fresh candidates:- that I have not done Registrarship /Senior Residency / Tutor / Demonstrator earlier within or outside UT of J&K

In case of experienced candidates:- I am an experienced candidate and have already done Registrarship /Senior Residency/tutor/demonstrator-ship for a period of In the institution and I understand the fact that the fresher candidates shall be given preference and

if appointed I will be serving only for the remaining period so as to complete 03 years of senior residency in total. In case I have already done senior residency for a period of 03 years or more, I will be engaged/ appointed only if no fresher candidate gets available.

Verification:

Verified that the averments made above are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief and nothing herein has been concealed ,verified today on

NOTE: – The affidavit will be duly attested by 1st class Judicial Magistrate.

9. In-Service / PSC candidates shall also submit the NOC for undergoing senior residency/Tenure posting from the parent department in addition to the above documents/ testimonials through online

mode at the time of form submission and the hard copy of same shall also be submitted in the office of Registrar academics GMC Baramulla before the last date of form submission failing which the application form(s) of such candidate(s) shall not be entertained and cancelled without any notice.

Application Fee:-

Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs.500/- as Form Fee through online mode by or before the cutoff date 27-09-2025.

Mode of selection:-

Selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the performance in the MCQ based written test. (Strictly as per the criteria specified under Government Order No 383 – JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024). However the dates and other details of written examination shall be communicated separately in due course of time on the official website of Government Medical College Baramulla.

Terms and Conditions:

* Fresh candidates not having done Senior Residency earlier (for a period of 03 years or more) shall be given preference. Application forms of the experienced candidates (having completed 03 years of senior residency/registrar-ship) will be Provisionally accepted, However their selection/ appointment will be subject to the non-availability of fresher candidates.

* The Eligibility /Candidature of In-Service candidates shall be subject to fulfillment of all the pre-requisites, in accordance with the relevant rules, as envisaged in the J&K Civil Service Rules 1979 and providing of NOC from the parent department as envisaged in the circular No. 03- HME of 2019 dated 27-05-2019.

* Pursuant to the Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 DATED 20-06-2024, the eligibility criteria and the upper age limit shall be strictly as per the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations 2025.

* Mere submission of the Documents/Certificates shall not be considered as final, candidature of any candidate is provisional and is subject to cancellation, Ab-initio, if found ineligible by any means at any stage of recruitment process / selection by the designated committee for the purpose/competent authority.

* There shall be a waiting list, which shall remain in force for a period of 03 months from the date of issue of the selection list

* The engages shall not be entitled to private practice or undertake simultaneous part time / full time job anywhere else. He / She shall work on Full time basis.

* The selected candidates shall not leave the department before completion of his/her sanctioned tenure failing which the security deposit shall be forfeited and no experience certificate shall be issued.
