PM SHRI School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Aglar, District Shopian has announced a walk-in interview for several teaching and non-teaching positions on a contract basis for the academic session 2025–26 (up to 25.05.2026). These vacancies are open to eligible candidates who meet the academic and professional requirements outlined by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
The recruitment includes the following posts:
• PGT Physics
• TGT English
• Hostel Superintendent (Female)
• Matron (Female)
Candidates for teaching roles must possess relevant postgraduate or graduate degrees with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. qualification. For the TGT English post, CTET (Paper II) qualification is mandatory.
Administrative and residential roles such as Hostel Superintendent and Matron require specific experience and age criteria. The Matron position is open to female candidates with a minimum Class X qualification, with preference given to married females, including widows or divorcees without encumbrances.

Graduation in English; B.Ed.; CTET Paper II; Age below 50 years. - Hostel Superintendent (Female)
Graduation; 5–7 years of residential school experience; Age 35–62 years. - Matron (Female)
Class X; Age 35–55 years; Must reside with students in the dormitory.
Interview Details:
• Application Submission: Candidates must apply in person using the prescribed form obtained from the Vidyalaya office between 23.02.2026 and 24.02.2026.
• Interview Date & Time: 26.02.2026 at 11:00 AM.
• Venue: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Aglar, Shopian (J&K) UT.
• Required Documents: Original documents and self-attested photocopies must be produced at the time of the interview.
Note: Selected candidates for residential posts must reside within the Vidyalaya campus. Boarding and lodging will be provided as per NVS norms and availability.
