INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION [ISRO]
RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIST/ENGINEER ‘SC’ WITH BE/B.TECH OR EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN ELECTRONICS, MECHANICAL AND COMPUTER SCIENCE
Centres/Units of Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space are engaged in Research and Development activities in development of Space Application. Space Science and Technology for the benefit of the society at large and for serving the Nation by achieving self-reliance and developing capacity to design and build Launch Vehicles and Communication/Remote Sensing Satellites and thereafter launch them.
2. In order to accelerate the recruitment process in a mission mode, in line with the vision and directions of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, a part of the vacancies of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in ISRO will be filled up based on GATE score and remaining vacancies based on written test.
3. Online applications are invited from meritorious graduates for the following vacancies of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts), in Level-10 of Pay Matrix to be filled based on GATE score at constituent ISRO Centres as detailed below:

Educational qualification
BE/B.Tech. or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
GATE Qualification: Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering [Paper Code: EC]
BE/B.Tech, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
GATE Qualification: Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering [Paper Code: ME]
BE/B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
GATE Qualification: Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology [Paper Code: CS]
4. Age Limit: 28 years as on 19-05-2025. Serving Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
5. Application Fee: The Application Fee is 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for each application. Candidates may make the payment ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
6. All Women/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee. However, after registration of application on-line, the candidates have to ensure receipt of system generated email regarding successful
submission of application.
7. Pay and Allowances: Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level-10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of 56,100/- p.m
. In addition, Deamess Allowance [DA], House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. Further, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance etc. are admissible as per Central Government orders.
