The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru—one of the premier R&D establishments under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India—invites eligible Indian nationals registered with NATS/NAPS portals to attend a walk-in interview for One-Year Apprentice Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on academic merit, written test, interview, or a combination thereof, subject to document verification.

ITI candidates must register on https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
All other candidates must register on https://nats.education.gov.in.
Only Indian nationals are eligible.
Minimum age: 18 years as on 04th November 2025.
Only those who passed qualifying exams in 2023 or later are eligible.
Candidates with higher qualifications, prior job/training experience, or current apprenticeships are not eligible.
Reservation as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Selected candidates must provide police verification, medical fitness certificate, and join as per the prescribed date.
No accommodation, transport, or allowance will be provided.
Selection does not guarantee employment after training.

NATS/NAPS profile printout
10th mark sheet and certificate
All semester/year-wise mark sheets of qualifying exams
Degree/Diploma/ITI certificate
Aadhaar card
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Two recent passport-size photographs
