DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE No: 04 OF 2026 Dated: 12-06-2026
Online Applications are invited from the domiciles of UT of J&K for the below mentioned posts in the Islamic University of Science & Technology, Kashmir.

इस्लामिक यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी, कश्मीर द्वारा विस्तृत विज्ञापन अधिसूचना संख्या 04 वर्ष 2026, दिनांक 12-06-2026 जारी की गई है। इस्लामिक यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी, कश्मीर में नीचे उल्लेखित पदों के लिए जम्मू-कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के अधिवासियों से ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

Post Matrix and Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Note: (i) 4% of posts shall be reserved for persons with disability (PWD) and 6% of posts (up to Pay Level-6) shall be reserved for Ex-Serviceman under horizontal Reservation.
नोट: (i) क्षैतिज आरक्षण के तहत विकलांग व्यक्तियों (PWD) के लिए 4% पद और भूतपूर्व सैनिकों के लिए 6% पद (वेतन स्तर-6 तक) आरक्षित किए जाएंगे।

Important Dates & Age Limits

• Date of availability of Online Application Form: 13-06-2026
• Last date of submission of Online Application Form: 03-07-2026 (4.30 PM)

Shortlisting / Selection Procedure:

1. The criteria for shortlisting of candidates for interview for all above posts shall be as follows: “20 candidates shall be shortlisted for one post and 05 candidates for every additional post”.
1. उपरोक्त सभी पदों के लिए साक्षात्कार के लिए उम्मीदवारों को शॉर्टलिस्ट करने का मानदंड इस प्रकार होगा: “एक पद के लिए 20 उम्मीदवारों को और प्रत्येक अतिरिक्त पद के लिए 05 उम्मीदवारों को शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा”।

2. The following Criteria shall be adopted for final selection for the above said posts:

3. For the post of Junior Assistant, a type test qualifying in nature shall be conducted for those candidates declared as having qualified the written test. And only such candidates who shall have qualified the type test i.e. a typing speed of 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy on computer shall be eligible for appearance before the interview as per the ratio cited above.

4. The syllabus and pattern of the written test shall be notified separately.

3. जूनियर असिस्टेंट के पद के लिए, लिखित परीक्षा में योग्य घोषित किए गए उम्मीदवारों के लिए एक टाइप टेस्ट आयोजित किया जाएगा जो केवल क्वालिफाइंग प्रकृति का होगा। और केवल ऐसे उम्मीदवार जिन्होंने टाइप टेस्ट पास किया है, यानी कंप्यूटर पर 90% सटीकता के साथ 35 शब्द प्रति मिनट की टाइपिंग गति, ऊपर दिए गए अनुपात के अनुसार साक्षात्कार के लिए उपस्थित होने के पात्र होंगे। 4. लिखित परीक्षा का पाठ्यक्रम और पैटर्न अलग से अधिसूचित किया जाएगा।

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS / INSTRUCTIONS

1. Before applying for the post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility. 2. CA/CS/ICWA qualifications shall be considered equivalent to PG Degree, wherever required as per the UGC Public Notice issued Vide D.O.No.9-35/2016 (CPP-II) Dated: 15 April, 2021. 3. Candidates belonging to PWD Category are exempted for submitting of application fee.

1. पद के लिए आवेदन करने से पहले, उम्मीदवारों को अपनी पात्रता के बारे में संतुष्ट होने की सलाह दी जाती है। 2. यूजीसी पब्लिक नोटिस संख्या D.O.No.9-35/2016 (CPP-II) दिनांक: 15 अप्रैल, 2021 के अनुसार जहां भी आवश्यकता हो, CA/CS/ICWA योग्यताओं को पीजी डिग्री के समकक्ष माना जाएगा। 3. PWD श्रेणी से संबंधित उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन शुल्क जमा करने से छूट दी गई है।

4. Candidates not fulfilling the eligibility requirements prescribed here-in-above as on the last date prescribed for submission of online application forms need not to apply. 5. The candidates are advised to fill up the online application form carefully. Information not provided under the relevant heads / columns shall not be considered.

6. Candidates are required to apply online through University website. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) shall have to be deposited as application fee through online mode.

4. ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र जमा करने की निर्धारित अंतिम तिथि तक उपरोक्त निर्धारित पात्रता आवश्यकताओं को पूरा नहीं करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। 5. उम्मीदवारों को ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र सावधानीपूर्वक भरने की सलाह दी जाती है। प्रासंगिक शीर्षों/कॉलमों के तहत प्रदान नहीं की गई जानकारी पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।

6. उम्मीदवारों को विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन आवेदन करना आवश्यक है। आवेदन का कोई अन्य साधन/तरीका स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा। आवेदन शुल्क के रूप में ₹1000/- (रुपये एक हजार मात्र) की गैर-वापसीयोग्य राशि ऑनलाइन माध्यम से जमा करनी होगी।

7. The Candidates applying under various categories shall be required to produce the relevant category certificate/s duly issued by the Competent Authority failing which their candidature shall not be entertained.

8. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere possession of the same will not entitle a candidate for being called for final selection / written test / interview. 9. The in service candidates should apply through their employer.

7. विभिन्न श्रेणियों के तहत आवेदन करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा विधिवत जारी प्रासंगिक श्रेणी प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत करना आवश्यक होगा, ऐसा न करने पर उनकी उम्मीदवारी पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। 8. निर्धारित योग्यताएं और अनुभव न्यूनतम हैं और केवल इनका होना किसी उम्मीदवार को अंतिम चयन/लिखित परीक्षा/साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाए जाने का हकदार नहीं बनाएगा। 9. सेवारत उम्मीदवारों को अपने नियोक्ता के माध्यम से आवेदन करना चाहिए।

10. The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the UGC Guidelines / University Statutes with amendments from time to time / JKCSR.

11. Candidates who have been awarded Graduation / Post Graduate / Ph.D degree from Foreign University should enclose Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi without which their candidature will not be considered and application from will be rejected.

10. सेवा को नियंत्रित करने वाले नियम और शर्तें समय-समय पर संशोधनों के साथ यूजीसी दिशानिर्देशों / विश्वविद्यालय संविधियों / जेकेसीएसआर (JKCSR) के अनुसार होंगी। 11. जिन उम्मीदवारों को विदेशी विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक / स्नातकोत्तर / पीएचडी डिग्री प्रदान की गई है, उन्हें भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ (AIU), नई दिल्ली द्वारा जारी समकक्षता प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न करना चाहिए, जिसके बिना उनकी उम्मीदवारी पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा और आवेदन पत्र खारिज कर दिया जाएगा।

12. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and place of written tests through University website / e-mail/ whichever is considered suitable by the University. However, University does not take any responsibility for non-receipt or delayed receipt of the intimation by a candidate.

13. All further relevant information/updates shall be uploaded on University website only. The Candidates are advised to remain in touch with University website and notifying the same in newspapers shall not be obligatory on University’s part.
12. पात्र उम्मीदवारों को विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट / ई-मेल / जो भी विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा उपयुक्त समझा जाए, के माध्यम से लिखित परीक्षाओं की तिथि और स्थान के बारे में सूचित किया जाएगा। हालांकि, विश्वविद्यालय किसी उम्मीदवार को सूचना प्राप्त न होने या देरी से प्राप्त होने की कोई जिम्मेदारी नहीं लेता है।

13. आगे की सभी प्रासंगिक जानकारी/अपडेट केवल विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट पर ही अपलोड किए जाएंगे। उम्मीदवारों को विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट के संपर्क में रहने की सलाह दी जाती है और समाचार पत्रों में इसे अधिसूचित करना विश्वविद्यालय के लिए अनिवार्य नहीं होगा।

14. The University reserves the right to alter/ insert any corrections / additions in the advertisement notice through university website only, for which the candidates are advised to remain in touch with the official website.

15. The University reserves the right to amend, defer, cancel the recruitment process for filling up of any or all posts advertised here-in above, at any stage without assigning any reason thereof. 16. The University reserves the right to place a limit on the total number of candidates to be called for written test/interview.
14. विश्वविद्यालय केवल विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट के माध्यम से विज्ञापन सूचना में कोई भी सुधार/जोड़ करने या बदलने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है, जिसके लिए उम्मीदवारों को आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के संपर्क में रहने की सलाह दी जाती है।

15. विश्वविद्यालय के पास बिना कोई कारण बताए किसी भी चरण में उपरोक्त विज्ञापित किसी भी या सभी पदों को भरने की भर्ती प्रक्रिया में संशोधन करने, स्थगित करने या रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। 16. विश्वविद्यालय लिखित परीक्षा/साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाए जाने वाले उम्मीदवारों की कुल संख्या पर सीमा तय करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है।

17. Experience shall be counted as on the last date prescribed for submission of online application form.

18. The University shall verify the antecedents / documents submitted by a candidate at any time of the appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidate are fake or the candidate has undesirable antecedents and has suppressed any information, his/her service shall be liable for termination abinitio and the University may initiate appropriate action under law.

17. अनुभव की गणना ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र जमा करने की निर्धारित अंतिम तिथि के अनुसार की जाएगी। 18. विश्वविद्यालय नियुक्ति के किसी भी समय या सेवा के कार्यकाल के दौरान उम्मीदवार द्वारा प्रस्तुत पूर्ववृत्त / दस्तावेजों का सत्यापन करेगा। यदि यह पाया जाता है कि उम्मीदवार द्वारा प्रस्तुत दस्तावेज फर्जी हैं या उम्मीदवार का अवांछनीय पूर्ववृत्त रहा है और उसने कोई जानकारी छिपाई है, तो उसकी सेवा तत्काल प्रभाव से समाप्त की जा सकती है और विश्वविद्यालय कानून के तहत उचित कार्रवाई शुरू कर सकता है।

19. The salary of the appointee shall not be released until a satisfactory report about his / her character & antecedents and qualifications/experiences from relevant agencies/institutions is not received. 20. The University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate(s) at any stage in the process of selection in case any mistake is detected even after the issue of appointment letter.

19. संबंधित एजेंसियों/संस्थानों से चरित्र और पूर्ववृत्त तथा योग्यता/अनुभव के बारे में एक संतोषजनक रिपोर्ट प्राप्त होने तक नियुक्त व्यक्ति का वेतन जारी नहीं किया जाएगा। 20. नियुक्ति पत्र जारी होने के बाद भी यदि कोई गलती पाई जाती है, तो विश्वविद्यालय चयन की प्रक्रिया के किसी भी चरण में उम्मीदवार को किए गए किसी भी संचार को संशोधित/वापस/रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है।

21. The selected candidate shall be governed by the New Pension Scheme. However, this shall not apply in case of in-service candidates governed by OPS. 22. In case of any disputes/suits or legal proceedings against the University, the jurisdiction shall be confined to the Srinagar Courts only. 23. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in the written test / interview.

21. चयनित उम्मीदवार नई पेंशन योजना द्वारा शासित होंगे। हालांकि, यह ओपीएस (OPS) द्वारा शासित सेवारत उम्मीदवारों के मामले में लागू नहीं होगा। 22. विश्वविद्यालय के खिलाफ किसी भी विवाद/मुकदमों या कानूनी कार्यवाही के मामले में, क्षेत्राधिकार केवल श्रीनगर न्यायालयों तक ही सीमित रहेगा। 23. लिखित परीक्षा/साक्षात्कार में उपस्थित होने के लिए उम्मीदवारों को कोई टीए/डीए का भुगतान नहीं किया जाएगा।
