ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECT INDIAN COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH
Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Humanities Social Sciences and Management, NIT Srinagar, for an ICSSR-sponsored major research project.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sumaira Jan
Duration of the project: 12 Months
Position: Research Assitant (1 No)
Remuneration (Rs.): Rs. 37,000/Month (Consolidated)
Duration: Maximum 12 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Qualification: PhD./M.Phil/Postgraduate in a subject relevant to the research area of the project or any social sciences discipline with at least 55% Marks.
Desired Qualification:
PhD in Management with a good research background.
Note:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit as per the project’s requirements. Mere qualification of eligibility criteria does not guarantee a shortlist.
Only the shortlisted candidates would be called for interviews, and the intimation would be sent through email only. The selected candidate is expected to join within a week after publishing the interview results. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview in physical mode.
The positions are purely temporary.
• At the time of joining, the selected candidate must produce all relevant documents/testimonials in original for verification and a medical certificate of fitness from the medical officer of the institute. If this fails, the institute will offer the position to the next candidate on the merit list prepared for this purpose.
