INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR RECRUITMENT OF STAFF
1. Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar invites applications from the eligible Indian National candidates for the following post:-
A
Name of the Post: PGT (BIOLOGY) (REGULAR) (UNRESERVED) – 01
Educational Qualification: Essential (i) & (ii):-
(i) Integrated Post Graduate Course from NCTE recognised University/RIE of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B Ed component, OR Mas-ter Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:-Biological Science/ Life Science OR any specialisation in concerned subject provided the candidate has studied concem subject at Graduation level also.
(ii) B Ed Degree from NCTE recognised Institution/University with at least 50% marks OR Three year integrated B Ed-M Ed from NCTE recognised Institution/University with at least 50% marks OR Four year integrated degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognised Institution/Uni-versity including B Ed component.
Entry Pay: Rs. 47,600/- in the Level 8 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC recommendations.

Educational Qualification: Essential (i), (ii) & (iii):-
(i) Four years integrated degree course from NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate including B Ed component OR Bachelors/Honours Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in concerned subject, combination of subjects and also in aggregate.
(ii) B Ed Degree from NCTE recognised Institution/University with at least 50% marks OR three year integrated B Ed-M Ed from NCTE recognised Institution/University with at least 50% marks.
(iii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-2 (for Classes VI to VIII) conducted by CBSE/ Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Classes VI to VIII / Secondary School conducted by appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
For TGT (Maths), the candidate should have studied:-
(aa) Mathematics as elective/ main subject in at least 03 years/06 semesters in graduation/four
years integrated degree course.
(ab) Physics at least 01 year/any 02 semesters of the course.
(ac) One out of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics at least 01 year/ any 02 semesters of the course.
The candidates who studied under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the above subject are also eligible to apply.
Candidates with B Sc (Hons) in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible for the post of TGT (Maths)
Remuneration: Rs. 54,500/- consolidated pay per month.

Educational Qualification: Essential (i), (ii) & (iii):-
(1) Four years integrated degree course from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate including B Ed component OR Bachelors/Honours Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in concerned subject, com-bination of subjects and also in aggregates
ii) B Ed Degree from NCTE recognised Institution/University with at least 50% marks OR three years integrated B Ed-M Ed from NCTE recognised Institution/University with at least 50% marks.
( (iii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-2 (for Classes VI to VIII) conducted by CBSE/ Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Classes VI to VIII / Secondary School conducted by appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
For TGT (Social Science), the candidate should have studied:-
(aa) Any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics and Political Science at Graduation level out of which ane must be either History or Geography in at least 03 years/06 semesters of course/four years integrated degree course as an elective/ main subject and the second subject for at least 01 year/any 02 semester of the course.
(ab) The candidates who studied under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the above sub-ject are also eligible to apply.
Remuneration: Rs. 54,500/- consolidated pay per month.
Age limits: Age: 21 to 35 Years
Desirable:-
(i) Higher percentage of marks/higher qualification and experience of working in English Medium Resi-
dential Public Schools shall be considered for award of prescribed weightage.
(ii) Achievements in NCC/ Sports / Co & extracurricular activities, etc.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Selection Process:- Written Test, Skill Test and Interview. The candidates securing minimum essential marks and shortlisted in the written test will only be permitted to take part in further selection process.
3. Last Date for receipt of Applications at Sainik School Bhubaneswar will be 21 days from the date of first publication of the advertisement.
4. Application Fee:- Candidates are advised to pay the application fee (non-refundable) for Rs 400/- (exempted for Women, SC and ST candidates) through online mode (NEFT, PhonePe, Google Pay) to the Sainik School Bhubaneswar bank account (Name of the A/C holder: Principal, Sainik School Bhubaneswar, Account No: 450501010028108, IFSC: UBIN0545058, Bank: Union Bank of India, Chandrasekharpur Branch). They must also enter the pay-ment details in the prescribed column of the application form. 5. Age Relaxation:- Age relaxation (upper age limit) as per the Central Govt rules.

Applications received after the due date or without the supporting documents or without prescribed application fee (wherever applicable) or not in the prescribed format will be rejected without any intimation. The School will not be responsible for any postal delay and no claim will be entertained in this regard. 7. Call letters:- Call letters will be issued to all eligible and shortlisted candidates only by email. 8. Other Facilities:- Rent free accommodation as available in the School for all posts.
Free food during School session. In addition to the pay, the Regular PGT (Biology) is entitled to the benefits of DA, Transport Allowance, Medical Allowance, LTC, NPS, subsidised education for two children, Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity, Leave Encashment, etc as per the Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations in vogue and as amended from time to time. 9. The contractual posts will be for a period of one year,
however, the contract period can be curtailed by the School due to administrative / policy reasons. The
