DEPARTMENT OF GEOINFORMATICS – UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR (NAAC Accredited Grade “A++” | HAZRATBAL, SRINAGAR) Advertisement Notice for Senior Project Associate (SPA) under the project titled “CRYo-sphere Science Concluding in new Observations and Productive Exploitation (CRYOSCOPE)” sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project under Dr. Irfan Rashid, Associate Professor & Principal Investigator. DIPK-NB-1724-26 Dated: 25-09-2026.
जियोइन्फॉर्मेटिक्स विभाग – कश्मीर विश्वविद्यालय (हजरतबल, श्रीनगर) भारत सरकार के पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय (MoES) द्वारा प्रायोजित “CRYOSCOPE” परियोजना के तहत वरिष्ठ परियोजना सहयोगी (Senior Project Associate) पद के लिए विज्ञापन सूचना। यह पद अस्थायी है तथा परियोजना की अवधि के साथ समाप्त होने वाला है।
Position: Senior Project Associate (1 No).
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000 + HRA @18%, as applicable.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing & GIS with 4 years of research experience in cryospheric sciences OR Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing & GIS.
Desirable: Proficiency in cryospheric remote sensing with a proven track record of publications.
पद: सीनियर प्रोजेक्ट एसोसिएट (1 पद)। मासिक मानदेय: ₹42,000 + 18% HRA। अनिवार्य योग्यता: क्रायोस्फेरिक साइंसेज में 4 साल के शोध अनुभव के साथ एम.एससी जियोइन्फॉर्मेटिक्स / रिमोट सेंसिंग और जीआईएस या जियोइन्फॉर्मेटिक्स / रिमोट सेंसिंग और जीआईएस में पीएचडी की डिग्री।
