Applications are invited for post of Project Scientist-1 and Scientific Administrative Assistant at ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi as mentioned below.

Rs. 56000 + 27% HRA Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review.
Essential Qualification
Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Doctoral degree in Life Science/Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics or any other related field from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics, experience in analyzing high throughput SNP genotyping data, NGS data, resequencing and transcriptomics data.
Scientific Administrative Assistant
Sub Project-6, Component-1: Coordination Unit. (1012159)
Rs. 18,000/- + 27% HRA
Essential Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline.
Desirable Qualification
Experience in field crop management, laboratory work (particularly in handling equipment and chemicals), as well as proficiency in managing office documents, basic computer skills, and data handling.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for the post of Scientific Administrative Assistant is 50 years & Project Scientist-1 is 35 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation in upper age limit to women (5 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PWD (10 years). Age for and other eligible categories shall be applicable as per GOI/ICAR rules.
